Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks has been an American actress for the past seven time. Her most recognizable role was as Joan Holloway, in AMC's drama period series Mad Men. She received critical acclaim in the series and received nominations for six Emmy awards under the category of best supporting actress. Through her career of 20 years, she gained recognition for her part in comedy dramatic Another Period, a crime drama called Tin Star. Her performances are noted in films like Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River, The Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg as well as American Woman. She has also provided her voice for animations such as From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 or Scoob! Her career began as a fashion model, and was as a model for a few years until she made her debut on television with Undressed. The first time she acted was in the part as a character in Beggars and Choosers. Her performance in Firefly, a cult movie that was loved by audiences and critics alike, accompanied. Esquire magazine chose her to be the Sexiest Woman on Earth and the Best-Looking American Woman of the year 2010.
