Aisling Bea

Aisling B a, born 16 March, 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She's appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is better known by her stage name Aisling Bea is an Irish actress writer and comedian. Bea started appearing as part of the cast on Irish or British TV programs in the year 2009, started her career by performing stand-up comedy in 2011. The comedian began to appear frequently on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms later in the year. Following her win at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to be booked regularly for different panel shows, where she has become a fixture. She has been a part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016, and she's an extremely popular contestant on the show's sister show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister who is named Sinead. She was in 2012 the only woman in history to win the So You Believe You're Funny award. Bea's surname is in honour of her late father. Aisling Claiodhnadh Sullivan was born on the 16th of March, 1984 at Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who committed suicide when she was just three. Bea didn't learn how the death of her father occurred until she turned thirteen. The stage name Bea was in tribute to her father. Bea was the author of an opinion piece for The Guardian, published in 2017 on her journey dealing with suicide. Bea as well as her sister Sinead and her sister Sinead, were brought up with Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) who was a jockey as well as a teacher at a secondary school. Her parents were obsessed by horses and racing. As a young girl, Bea was a tour guide for the Irish National Stud however she was aware from an early stage that she was not interested in the racing industry as a job, and loved performing.
