Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for more than a decade. Alexandra is known for roles in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of sixteen, she had landed several television roles, including the lead role in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The audience was impressed by her performance on Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable performances, like Adolf Hitler's Secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are two other Oscar nominees featuring the divas. Alexandra is known for her involvement in many noteworthy projects both domestically as well as internationally. Some of these include the British biographical film Control, the Greek drama film The Dust of Time, as well as the French historical miniseries Napoleon. In addition, she was an active member of The Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
