 Leah Remini is an American actor, author, and activist who has a net worth of $22.5 million. Leah Remini is best known for her character Carrie Heffernan on the CBS sitcom "The King of Queens," and from 2016 to 2019 she hosted and co-produced the Emmy-winning series on A&E "Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath." Her characters include "Kevin Can't Wait", "Saved by the Bell"," "Old School" and "Old School". Leah Marie Remini was born in Brooklyn, New York, on June 15, 1970. Vicki Remini was her mom and George Remini, her father ran an asbestos removal business. She was raised by half-sisters Nicole, Shannon, Elizabeth, Christine, and her sister Nicole. In 2013, Stephanie passed away from cancer. Leah's first role in acting in 1988 was "Head Of The Class" which was and then a part in "Who's Boss?" in 1989. She was then chosen to appear in the 1989 "Who's the Boss?" The 12th episode of the show aired as a spin-off "Living Dolls" that featured Halle Berry and Remini. In 1991, Remini played Stacey Carosi in six episodes of "Saved by the Bell." She was also on "Cheers," "Friends," "Evening Shade," "NYPD Blue," and many other shows before landing "King of Queens" that ran for 9 seasons and 207Leah Leah episodes (1998-2007).
